A comedian treated Accrington pub-goers to free pints as part of a campaign to support struggling pubs.
Joe Lycett, star of Celebrity Traitors, featured The Crown in Whalley Road in an episode of his Channel 4 show Live from The Lycett Arms.
It was one of 30 pubs across the UK to receive a £100 bar tab, which punters enjoyed on Friday night.
Former Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, who appeared alongside Lycett on The Celebrity Traitors, is a regular at The Crown and recommended the pub to Joe.
Owner Punch Pubs also matched Joe's £100, and Julie Hesmondhalgh added £50, so there was £250 behind the bar in total.
The surprise gesture was part of a wider effort to raise awareness of the challenges facing the UK’s pub trade.
Will Gilmartin, landlord of The Crown, said: "Julie is a regular in The Crown.
"Joe put a message in a WhatsApp group and asked if anyone knew of any pubs who wanted a shout-out.
"Julie came in and took a picture and sent it to Joe on the WhatsApp group.
"He did a shout-out to 30 pubs, and we were one of them.
"The following day, I got an email from Channel 4 saying all the pubs that got a shout-out would be getting £100 to put behind the bar this Friday at 7pm."
One free drink per customer was offered until the tab ran out.
Mr Gilmartin said the gesture was part of Mr Lycett’s campaign to highlight the importance of supporting local pubs.
He said: "It’s great promotion for the pub.
"This all stems from a lot of pubs closing in the country.
"It is fantastic that Julie chose us."
The pub’s owners shared photos and videos from the night, which saw a packed house enjoying the comedian’s generosity.
Guests simply had to say "put it on Joe’s tab" to claim their free drink, with some even posing for photos to mark the occasion.
