Planning documents submitted to the council stated that the house would remain as a single self-contained property, with only one group of guests staying at a time.
The accommodation would be professionally managed and would not operate as a hotel, guest house, or venue for parties and events.
No extensions or external alterations are proposed as part of the development and existing access arrangements will remain unchanged.

The applicant told the council the holiday accommodation would be within walking distance of Clitheroe town centre, shops, restaurants and public transport links, helping to support local businesses and attractions across the Ribble Valley.
Permission was granted subject to standard conditions, including a requirement that the development begins within three years and is carried out in accordance with the approved plans.
The council's decision means the property can now be used as a self-catering holiday cottage for visitors to the area.
