A man who was harassed by his son was prescribed antidepressants by his doctor because of the effect on his mental health.
Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard Robbie Lunt was spoken to by police, who warned him to keep away from his father, but he continued the harassment.
Lunt, 32, of Mayfair Road, Nelson, pleaded guilty to harassment and criminal damage to a window.
He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report with conditions of residence, not to contact his father and not to enter Burnley.
Sameenah Bhatia, prosecuting, said there had been issues between the defendant and his father a couple of months ago which led to the police warning.
“Over the last two weeks he has been turning up at his father's address demanding money,” said Miss Bhatia.
“On one occasion he was banging so hard on the door he broke the glass.
"His father was put on anti-depressants by his doctor as a result of the stress placed upon him by this harassment.”
David Lawson, mitigating, said a restraining order his client had previously been subject to related to his grandmother.
He said his client had issues in his life and gravitated back to his father for help.
