Blackburn's EG On The Move has announced the acquisition of 37 car wash spots across France.
The acquisition of IMO Car Wash locations expands the company's existing French footprint.
The businesses are operated by independent third-party retail partners and the company said it was planning to rebrand the car wash sites.
EG On The Move said the acquisition would also create 'opportunities to expand vehicle care services across EGOTM's existing French estate of 260 petrol forecourt sites'.

Alongside car wash, EGOTM said it will also 'explore potential deployment of jet wash and other vehicle care provisions to help increase customer choice and drive long-term growth'.

In France, the EG On The Move operates a total of 305 trading units made up of 265 petrol forecourts and a further 40 foodservice concessions owned and operated by EG On The Move.
Across the United Kingdom, EG On The Move owns and operates more than 550 locations consisting of 270 petrol forecourts and convenience stores, along with over 220 foodservice concessions with more than 60 sites offering EV charging.
