Fire crews called to Devonshire Drive, Clayton-le-Moors

Firefighters are currently battling a house fire in Clayton-le-Moors.

Crews were called to Devonshire Drive at around 1pm today (October 8).

Three fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood attended the scene.

Videos, shared on social media by Sharna Coulson, show smoke billowing into the sky from a property.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "At 1.01pm on October 8, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood attended a domestic building fire on Devonshire Drive, Clayton-le-Moors.

"Firefighters used two hose reels, one hose reel jet and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance."
