In an op-ed for the Lancashire Telegraph ahead of a visit to Hyndburn, Nigel Farage sets out how he believes an elected Reform UK government would fix the UK in their first 100 days in office.
Britain is broken. Not slightly frayed at the edges. Broken.
And the people who broke it – the uniparty of Conservatives and Labour – now have the nerve to ask for more time.
Andy Burnham wants a decade. A decade!
The Tories had 14 years and delivered mass migration, soaring energy bills and allowed woke values to gain a stranglehold over our way of life.
Well, let me tell you here, and now, we do not have 10 years. Time is running out.
Take Hyndburn. It has the fourth highest crime rate in Lancashire.
Meanwhile, Accrington has 36 Turkish barbers and 14 vape shops. Blackburn Road alone hosts 15 barbers. Reform UK will introduce a cap on vape shops as well as a Turkish barber tip line for reporting suspected illegal activity.
That is why the moment a Reform government takes office, I will declare a national emergency.
Every senior minister in my government will sign a public 100-day pledge on day one.
Deliver it, or resign. Refuse, and I will sack them.

Because the British public has had enough of politicians who promise the earth and don’t deliver.
Here is what we will deliver in those first 100 days. First, we will stop the boats.
Under Operation Fortress, the Royal Navy will intercept every illegal vessel and return its occupants to France. Not a single unauthorised boat will make it to our shores.
Second, hard-working people will keep more of their own money.
Robert Jenrick has pledged to raise the personal tax allowance from the frozen £12,570 to £15,000. That puts real cash back in the pockets of millions and takes nearly three million people out of income tax altogether.
Third, energy bills will fall by £250 a year for the average household.
Richard Tice will strip the green levies, carbon taxes and VAT off your gas and electricity bills. We will bin net zero, unlock Britain’s own oil and gas, end the war on motorists and put cheap, reliable energy first.
Suella Braverman will cut student loan issuance by 20 per cent and lift the cap on medical school places - thereby enabling hundreds of British applicants with top grades to obtain places - and introduce zero per cent interest loans for nursing students.
And we will back pensioners by protecting the triple lock.
Each minister will deliver on these pledges within 100 days, or it's Goodnight, Vienna.
There will be no obstruction from the House of Lords, the judiciary or a Civil Service that believes it knows better than voters.
If they stand in the way of our clear democratic mandate, they will discover just how determined we are. We will do whatever it takes.
Britain can be saved. But only if we act fast. I tell you this: my government will hit the ground running. Then there will be no stopping us.
Nigel Farage is the leader of Reform UK and Member of Parliament for Clacton.
