Blackburn's Eesa ‘The Hurricane’ wins first boxing bout

A Blackburn youngster is celebrating after winning his first bout in front of a big crowd.

Eesa 'The Hurricane' Lodi competed in an exhibition boxing match at Bolton’s Muscle Factory Fight Club where he proved to be no match for a much heavier opponent.

The nine-year-old Brookhouse School pupil has already won a number of awards in kickboxing tournaments and events across the country. Here, he tried his hand at boxing.

Boxing coach Faz from Vault Gym, said: “This was the first time he had appeared in front of a big crowd with him into and he kept everyone entertained.

“This is a fine example of what the young people can achieve with the right guidance and support.

“The future is bright for these youngsters and hopefully this will encourage other Parents to get their Kids involved in such Activities.

"A big shoutout to the team and Supporters who came to the event.”
