East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce has appointed Sarah Dean as its new membership director.
Ms Dean steps into the role after six years with the chamber and officially began her duties on October 1.
She has been instrumental in driving membership growth, boosting member engagement, and improving the overall experience for businesses since joining in 2020.
Simon Brierley, chief executive of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, said: "Following a competitive recruitment process, I am delighted to appoint Sarah as our new Membership Director.
"Sarah has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Chamber, our members and our values throughout her time with the organisation.
"She has consistently delivered results, built strong relationships across the business community and shown outstanding leadership qualities.
"I am confident she will play a crucial role in shaping the next phase of our evolution and helping more businesses across East Lancashire to grow and succeed."
Ms Dean brings extensive experience in business development, sales leadership, and account management, with previous senior roles at Global, UKRD Group, and Marriott Hotels Group.

In her new role, Ms Dean will lead the chamber’s membership strategy, oversee member engagement and retention activity, and support the continued growth of the organisation.
