Here’s the forecast for West Lancashire this weekend

The Met Office has forecast a bright and dry Saturday for West Lancashire after overnight rain clears.

Temperatures will start at 9°C to 14°C in the early morning, rising to 15°C to 16°C by 11am.

The risk of rain will decrease significantly after the early hours, dropping to 10 to 30 per cent, with sunny intervals expected to develop.

Saturday afternoon will remain largely dry and bright, with temperatures reaching 16°C to 17°C.

The chance of rain will be low, generally around 10 to 20 per cent, and winds will be lighter than on Friday.

Saturday evening will stay mostly dry with clear or partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will be around 14°C to 16°C at 6pm, dropping to 12°C to 14°C by 10pm.

Coastal areas will remain slightly milder than inland.

The chance of rain will stay low at around 10 per cent.

Sunday will be mostly dry, though cloudier than Saturday in some areas.

Temperatures will start at 10°C to 15°C, with coastal areas being milder.

By late morning, temperatures will rise to 15°C to 16°C.

The chance of rain will be around 20 to 30 per cent, but many places should remain dry.

Sunday afternoon will see temperatures rise to 17°C to 18°C, with conditions varying between sunny intervals and cloud.

The chance of rain will be around 20 to 30 per cent, so showers are possible but widespread rain is not expected.

Winds will become more noticeable, especially towards the coast.

Sunday evening will be mostly cloudy but mild, with temperatures around 15°C to 17°C at 6pm, remaining at 13°C to 17°C by 10pm.

Coastal areas will again be warmest.

The chance of rain will remain low, generally around 20 per cent, although winds will be stronger than on Saturday.
