A Burnley man will stand trial after denying multiple alleged sex offences.

Grahame Singleton, 59, of Rome Avenue, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Wednesday (September 30), charged with one count of causing/inciting a girl aged 13-15 to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child.

Singleton pleaded not guilty to all three alleged offences.

It is alleged that Singleton caused or incited a girl aged between 14 and 15 to engage in sexual activity between June 2023 and June 2025.

It is further alleged that he had sexual communications with a child firstly between April 2022 and August 2024, and then between June 2023 and September 2025.

Singleton was bailed ahead of a pre-trial review on January 16, 2028, and a five-day trial was set for March 13, 2028.
