A man who was involved in two high-value burglaries has escaped an immediate prison sentence.
Blackburn magistrates heard that in one of the offences a garage door was levered open and an E-bike and tools together worth £6,560 were stolen.
Dale Perry, 47, of Springfield Bank, Burnley, pleaded guilty to burglary of a garage in Woodgrove Road, Burnley, and theft of a Haibike Hybe E-bike, Dewalt drill and accessories and an Akita waterproof suit and burglary at Londis, Lyndhurst Road, Burnley, and theft of cash and cigarettes to the value of £3,200.
He was sentenced to 32 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months with 15 days rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was ordered to pay £350 compensation to the bike owner and £150 to Londis.

Graeme Tindall, prosecuting, said the garage owner at first thought the building was secure but then realised the property was missing.
"It appears the door had been levered open with some kind of tool," said Mr Tindall.
He said entry had been forced to the Londis store.
Cash was stolen from the till and a large quantity of cigarettes.
Mark Williams, defending, said his client had shown in the past that he could co-operate with the probation service.
"There was another person involved in both these incidents," said Mr Williams.
"The police know who he is but they haven't caught up with him yet."
