A Burnley man has appeared in court in Hertfordshire accused of rape.
Vincent Colisao, 24, of Basnett Street, appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday (September 23) accused of rape and strangulation.
It is alleged that Colisao raped a woman in January 2024 in Broxbourne, around 17 miles north of London.

It is further alleged that he strangled a woman at the same location on the same date.
Colisao pleaded not guilty to both offences and was bailed ahead of a pre-trial review on September 25, 2028.
A four-day trial was scheduled for October 23, 2028.
