A Colne man has pleaded guilty to raping a girl but will face a trial on further alleged offences which he denies.
Jordan Thorpe, 26, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday, September 17, charged with rape of a girl under 13, assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, and two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration.

Thorpe, of James Street, pleaded guilty to the rape and the assault by touching offences, but denied the alleged assault by penetration offences.
The rape offence is said to have taken place in Ely, while the assault by touching offence and the alleged assault by penetration offences are said to have taken place in Haddenham, a village between Ely and Cambridge.
Thorpe was bailed ahead of a trial on September 20, 2027, which is expected to last five days.
