A hidden café tucked away on a Lytham side street has been winning praise from diners for its food, coffee and laid-back atmosphere.
APEX Cycleworks, on Bath Road, is a little different from the traditional cafes visitors might expect to find around Lytham.
Part café, part bike workshop, the independent business combines coffee, breakfast and lunch with cycle repairs — all in a setting designed to bring a little taste of city culture to the Lancashire coast.
And judging by customer reviews, it has certainly made an impression.
The café currently holds a 4.2 rating on TripAdvisor from 30 reviews and is listed among Lytham's coffee and tea spots.
One customer said they first discovered APEX while looking online for somewhere to eat in Lytham, adding that their interest in bicycles made the unusual combination particularly appealing.
They said the café serves "healthy food that tastes really good".
Another diner praised the food, staff and outdoor seating area, describing the breakfast burrito as delicious and highlighting the fact that the café is dog-friendly.
They said: "Amazing food lovely staff and beautiful seating area to people watch the breakfast burrito was delicious and arrived quickly it's also dog friendly. We will be returning."
Coffee is another recurring theme among the reviews, with one customer declaring that APEX serves "the most delicious breakfasts and lunches" and claiming its coffee is "honestly the best around".

The concept behind APEX was created by owners Laura Welton and James White.
The owners deliberately chose Bath Road because it is slightly away from the busiest parts of Lytham, while still being close enough to attract people exploring the town.
The menu also reflects that less traditional approach.
Among the dishes served at APEX is the Korean chicken waffle, combining crispy panko chicken with a sticky sauce, slaw and a soft waffle.
Other reviews highlight the breakfast burrito and the cafe's lunchtime dishes, while the coffee has become one of the biggest talking points among customers.
