Accrington Pride will return with plans for a bigger and more inclusive celebration in 2027.
Organisers are launching their efforts with a fundraising event, HalloKween, to be held on Saturday, November 7, at The Brooks Club on Infant Street.
The evening will feature drag performances, live music, games, stalls, and a raffle, with guests encouraged to embrace the Halloween theme and dress up for the occasion.
Mark Everledge, Pride organiser, said: "Pride is about people coming together, celebrating who they are and making sure everyone knows they have a place in their community.
"The fundraiser gives us a chance to have some fun and raise money, but it is also the start of something much bigger.a
"We want to build something that Accrington can really get behind."
The HalloKween fundraiser will run from 6pm to 10pm, with tickets priced at £3 in advance or £4 on the door.
It will be hosted by popular drag entertainers Melaina Sass (the drag persona of Mark Everledge) and Lucy Lush, who together organised Accrington’s first Pride event in 2019.
Organisers are now working towards Accrington Inclusion Pride, set to take place on June 26, 2027, with plans for a major celebration in the town square and town hall.
Their vision is to create a Pride event that represents the entire community, regardless of sexuality, gender, disability, background, age, or identity.
Lucy Lush, drag performer, said: "We want everyone to come along, have a brilliant night and be part of what we're building for Accrington.
"Whether you're LGBTQ+, an ally, coming with friends or simply looking for a great night out, you're welcome.
"Get dressed up, bring your friends and let's get Pride back on the Accrington calendar."

The fundraiser is supported by Kate from New Freedom, an experienced event organiser, and the team is seeking involvement from community groups, businesses, performers, and volunteers.
A spokesperson for the organising team said the November event will be a chance for people to meet the organisers and learn how they can support the wider Pride celebration.
