Several Northern train routes will be disrupted until October 2 due to railway upgrade work in the area.
Starting today (September 21), there will be significant disruptions between Wigan Wallgate and Leeds stations, affecting train service in Manchester and Greater Manchester.
Several services will be replaced by buses, and other services, such as that between Manchester Victoria and Leeds, will be diverted, affecting scheduled times.
A Northern Spokesperson said: "From today, 21 September, through to 2 October there will be significant changes to trains in the Huddersfield area as work continues to improve the railway as part of the Transpennine Route Upggrade.
"Trains will be split to run between Wigan Wallgate and Todmorden, and between Halifax and Leeds via Dewsbury.
"Trains will run between Sheffield and Lockwood only. A replacement bus will run between Huddersfield and Lockwood.
"Trains will not run between Marsden and Mirfield, with a number of replacement buses running.
"Trains between Manchester Victoria and Dewsbury and Leeds will be diverted via the Calder Valley with amended times.
