Thornton Cleveleys darts star Jack Drayton targets PDC Tour Card

Jack Drayton, from Thornton Cleveleys, has received backing from Bowker Motor Group as he competes on the 2026 PDC Development Tour and the MODUS Super Series.

He began playing in a pub league in 2022 before quickly progressing through the ranks.

He joined the Fleetwood Town Super League in August 2023 and was selected for Lancashire County Darts in September 2025.

Mr Drayton said: "It’s happened really quickly over the last couple of years.

"I started out playing local league darts with my mates, and now I’m competing on TV and travelling around the country.

"Having support from businesses back home means a lot because it helps me focus on improving and taking every opportunity that comes along."

His recent achievements include consecutive PDC Development Tour wins in Leicester, which moved him to second place in the Order of Merit.

He also won the 2026 Isle of Man Open men’s title, qualifying him for the WDF World Championship at Lakeside.

Alongside his darts career, Mr Drayton is studying Golf Management at Myerscough College and University Centre and has previously represented the Lancashire Golf Union as a scratch golfer.

He joined the Target Darts Elite 1 programme in early 2026 and is managed by Sportsman’s Management Company.

He is also set to compete on the PDC Challenge Tour during the 2026 season.

Mr Drayton’s goal for the rest of the year is to stay in the top 10 of the PDC Development Tour rankings to secure a PDC Tour Card and full-time professional status.
