A school in Fulwood is set to close for two days as teachers go on strike.
Corpus Christi Catholic High School, located on St Vincent’s Road, will be shut to all pupils on Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22, due to industrial action.
The school, which was rated as outstanding in its latest Ofsted inspection, will reopen on September 23.
Members of the National Education Union (NEU) and NASUWT, the Teachers' union, are going on strike.

John Hankin, headteacher of Corpus Christi, said: "Parents and carers were informed in advance that members of the National Education Union (NEU) and of NASUWT were taking part in industrial action.
"Our school will be closed to all pupils on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd of September and will open again to all pupils on Wednesday, September 23."
The National Education Union (NEU) and NASUWT have been approached for comment.
