A man found at his ex-partner's home in breach of a restraining order has been jailed.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tom McKee was visiting the address at her invitation.
But the visit also put him in breach of a suspended sentence imposed for a breach of the same order in May.
McKee, 33, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to breach of a restraining order. He was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison for the offence and a further 16 weeks of the suspended prison sentence activated. He was ordered to pay £154 victim surcharge on release.
Safia Hussain, prosecuting, said the restraining order prohibited any contact with the protected person.

"He has already breached this order twice and is on a suspended prison sentence in relation to the latest breach," said Miss Hussain.
Gareth Price, defending, said his client was realistic as to what sentence would be passed by the court. He said the latest breach and the one that led to the suspended sentence followed the same pattern.
"There was contact between them but there was no complaint from her," said Mr Price.
"On this occasion he was invited to her property and there is no suggestion he wasn't welcome. Until the order ends he shouldn't go there, whatever her invitation to him."
