Police have charged a man with multiple shoplifting offences after a spate of thefts from a store.

It follows incidents at B&M Bargains in Princess Road, Thornton-Cleveleys in August during which multiple items were stolen, totalling over £300.

On Tuesday, Aidan Riches, aged 29 of Lingfield Road, Fleetwood was charged with 11 counts of theft from a shop. He will appear before Lancaster Magistrates' Court on Friday, September 25.

Operation Vulture sees officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas, said Lancashire Police.
