Men in Burnley are being offered subsidised prostate health blood tests.
The tests will take place at Howe Walk on Saturday, September 19, following a successful fundraising campaign organised by the Mayoress’s Committee Pop-Up Shop.
The Pop-Up Shop raised funds to support prostate health by collecting donations, selling goods, and receiving volunteer assistance from the community.
A spokesperson for the Mayoress’s Committee said: "Charter Walk Shopping Centre has also made a major contribution to the testing programme.
"The result is a wonderful example of local people raising money for local men – with the money raised being put directly back into the community to help make prostate health testing more accessible."

Appointments for the September 19 testing day have already been filled, but registration is now open for future dates.
Men over the age of 40 are encouraged to visit the prostate health stall in Howe Walk on Saturday to register their interest in upcoming appointment-only testing days.
The spokesperson said: "Come and talk to us – if you’re a man over 40, we’d love to help you get booked in."
