A man accused of seriously injuring another man by driving carelessly will stand trial after pleading not guilty.
Javed Mohammed, 55, of Holly Street, Nelson, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Monday (September 14), charged with that offence and an offence of driving without insurance.
Mohammed entered not guilty pleas to both alleged offences, which are said to have happened on February 1 of this year in Burnley.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail ahead of a pre-trial review on June 28, 2027.
A trial expected to last four days was scheduled for August 23, 2027.
