Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to as part of investigations into a robbery at a supermarket in Heysham and a burglary in Morecambe.

Officers say the robbery happened at the Tesco Express on Heysham Road at around 9pm on Sunday, September 13.

During the incident, a man allegedly threatened members of staff before stealing a quantity of cigarettes and a bottle of alcohol.

Police are also seeking to speak to the same man in connection with a burglary at an address on Skipton Street in Morecambe at around 6am the following day, Monday, September 14.

Lancashire Police have issued an appeal to help identify the man pictured.

A spokesperson said: “Although the man in the image is wearing a face covering, we do believe people will recognise him."

“If you do know who he is, or have information which could help our investigations, please contact 101, quoting log 1367 of September 13."
