A Lancashire venue which is famed for its spa and views is set to close ahead of a multi-million-pound redevelopment and refurbishment.
The investment will aim to transform Stanley House Hotel & Spa, which is set within 54 acres of countryside. Owners said the redevelopment 'will build on that heritage, creating an enhanced experience for guests while securing the long-term future of the hotel'.
To enable the extensive programme of works to take place, Stanley House's accommodation, spa, restaurant and bar operations will temporarily close from September 30.
It is not clear at this stage how long the hotel will be shut for.
The on-site events business, operated by The Glass Marquee, Events by MyLahore, will continue throughout the redevelopment period, with weddings, social and corporate events proceeding as planned.
The hotel and spa complex was bought by Mohsin and Zuber Issa as a private investment in 2019.
