What is the Public Notice Portal?

Fleetwood Road in Burnley will be temporarily closed for three days.

The closure will affect the stretch from its junction with Briercliffe Road to outside property number 1.

The closure will begin at 8am on Monday, September 28, and end at 6pm on Wednesday, September 30.

The closure is to allow for remedial works to rectify a highway defect, which will be carried out by JN Civils on behalf of Openreach.

Emergency services will maintain access throughout the closure.

Residents will also be allowed vehicular access whenever and wherever possible, and pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.

An alternative route for affected vehicular traffic will be via Briercliffe Road, Swanage Road, and Cromer Avenue.

The closure has been made under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
