Members of Accrington Rotary Club have been raising money to help communities affected by devastating flooding in Nepal.
Nepal has been hit by devastating flooding and landslides following days of heavy monsoon rainfall.
Entire communities have been affected, with homes destroyed, roads washed away and families forced to flee.
Emergency teams have been working to reach remote mountain villages, while thousands of people have been displaced and left in need of shelter, clean water and essential supplies.
The disaster has prompted aid appeals from charities and organisations around the world, including Rotary, which has been working with colleagues in Nepal to provide emergency assistance directly to affected communities.
Rotarians have been collecting donations at local events, including at an Accrington Stanley home game, as part of a wider effort to provide emergency support to families whose homes and livelihoods have been affected by severe flooding and landslides.
The club hopes to raise enough money to fund a ShelterBox, which provides emergency supplies to people displaced by disasters around the world.
According to the club, Rotary's international network allows donations to be sent directly to affected areas through fellow Rotarians already on the ground in Nepal.
ShelterBox, a charity founded and supported by Rotary, stores aid supplies around the world so they can be distributed quickly when disasters strike.
Each box contains items designed to help families survive the immediate aftermath of a crisis, including shelter materials, cooking equipment and water filtration supplies.
Locally, Rotarians have a long-standing connection with Nepal. Over the years, members have supported projects including funding water pipes and sanitation improvements for villages in remote mountain areas.
Rotary clubs across Britain and Ireland have now been asked by colleagues in Nepal to help support relief efforts following the disaster.

Jacquie Baldwin said Rotary's global network means emergency assistance can be delivered directly to those who need it most.
She said: "Rotary is a known and trustworthy organisation and we find people are happy to trust us to get their donations to the people who need it.
"All the money will be collated and sent with nothing taken out as we are all volunteers, so 100% of the donations will be sent and used."
The club has already received strong support from local residents.
Jacquie added: "We have always found the people of Hyndburn to be so generous. We collected over £200 at Accrington Stanley's home game on Tuesday evening and with today's collection we hope we can purchase a ShelterBox."
The fundraising drive forms part of a nationwide Rotary response, with clubs across the country working to support emergency relief efforts and help communities in Nepal begin the process of recovery.
