Six Lancashire accommodation providers have been recognised for outstanding customer service and hospitality.
They have each received a VisitEngland ROSE Award (Recognition of Service Excellence), which celebrates exceptional visitor experiences across the country.
The Inn at Whitewell, in the Ribble Valley, was the only East Lancashire venue on the list for guest accommodation.
The inn dates back to the 1300s when it was first built.
Last year, it was named the best place to eat outside in the UK.
It is located on the banks of the River Hodder, with access to seven miles of trout, sea trout and salmon fishing.
The dog-friendly inn is known for its surrounding walking spots.
Famously, the late Queen Elizabeth II visited for a celebratory meal on her 80th birthday in 2006, and the venue also featured in the opening episode of The Trip starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.
Andrew Stokes, director at VisitEngland, said: "The VisitEngland ROSE Awards showcase the excellent accommodation available across England.
"They honour the people behind the businesses who go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service, innovative options for all tastes and budgets and a great welcome for visitors.
"Where people rest their heads is central to ensuring memorable visitor experiences, whether that’s glamping or B&B stays, to country pubs with rooms or self-catering cottages; these providers drive tourism and its benefits across communities."
The ROSE Awards are now in their 10th year and were presented at The Post Barn, Old Oxford Road, Newbury, Berkshire, on Tuesday, September 8.
Winners are nominated by VisitEngland’s Quality Scheme assessors, with selections based on assessor comments and online feedback from overseas and domestic visitors.
"ROSE Award recipients are all part of the VisitEngland Quality Schemes and demonstrate a commitment to delivering innovation and service excellence."
Tourism remains one of England’s largest industries, worth £127 billion annually to the English economy and supporting 2.1 million jobs across the regions.
Lancashire’s winners represent a variety of accommodation types, including guesthouses, holiday parks, and inns.

Each has been recognised for going above and beyond in providing outstanding service to their guests.
The awards not only highlight the high standards across the region but also reinforce the importance of great hospitality in creating memorable visitor experiences.
