A man has been charged after a charity box and cash from a tip jar were allegedly stolen from a Leyland barbershop.
Daniel Mason, 36, of Hillbrook Road, Leyland, has been charged with burglary and theft from a shop following the alleged incident at Benjamin Jack's barbers in Longmeaneygate on Monday, August 24.
Police said £100 in cash was taken from a charity box along with a tip jar, and that a £100 hairdryer was also stolen.
Mason was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Preston Magistrates' Court today (September 3).
