Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.

BALAZS TOTH - 7

Had a few routine stops to make in the first half but was otherwise untroubled. Helpless for both QPR goals.

RYAN ALEBIOSU - 7

Attacked well in the first half but wasn't as effective after the break. Created both notable chances for Todd Cantwell.

TOM ATCHESON - 7

Tried to progress the ball by stepping into midfield. Wouldn't say he was at fault for either goal.

SEAN MCLOUGHLIN - 7

Won his first share of aerial duels but perhaps could have done better for the QPR leveller. Burrell nipped in front of him after a ball forward but Smyth's run should have been tracked in the middle.

YURI RIBEIRO - 6

In for his first start after injury to Pickering. Performed solidly but had to be taken off late on after his own fitness concenrs.

ADAM FORSHAW - 7

Kept Rovers ticking as they tried to sustain attacks. Still managing his fitness levels and so made way before the hour.

KRISTI MONTGOMERY - 7

Snapped into tackles and won the ball back. Has made a strong start to the season and feels as though he is growing into his role.

RYOYA MORISHITA - 8

Scored a phenomenal goal. Amazing technique that few could have pulled off. Lively throughout and looked most likely to create something.

TODD CANTWELL - 7

Went close twice with a header and then a volley from the angle of the box. Probably should have scored with his first chance, though was slightly on the stretch.

DAPO AFOLAYAN - 6

Couldn't produce the same quality as midweek. Worked hard but end product wasn't there.

ANDRI GUDJOHNSEN - 6

Didn't have the chances of weeks gone by. On the periphery for a lot of the contest.

SUBSTITUTES:

SAM MORSY (FORSHAW, 57') - 6

Added some energy in midfield but couldn't influence proceedings.

HARVEY PATES (RIBEIRO, 81') - N/A

On for his Championship debut to cap a memorable week for the youngster.

JAKE GARRETT (MONTGOMERY, 81') - N/A

Replaced Montgomery in midfield late on.

JAYDEN FEVRIER (AFOLAYAN, 81') - N/A

Wasn't given long to try and get Rovers back in the contest.

FRANK VARE (CANTWELL, 86') - N/A

A Championship debut for the Academy graduate.

UNUSED SUBSTITUTES: PEARS, HOUGHTON, EDMONDSON, LISTER.
