Residents across the UK are celebrating after 20 postcodes were selected in Thursday’s Postcode Lottery daily draw on August 27, with every winning ticket worth £1,000.
The winning postcodes were spread across England and Wales, with lucky players in the North West, North East, Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands, East of England, South West, South East and Wales among those landing cash prizes.
In the North West, the winning postcode was CW3 0JS in Audlem, Crewe, Cheshire.
The North East saw six winning postcodes.
These were DL2 3ES in Gainford in County Durham, DL7 8UR in Northallerton, and TS8 9XP in Middlesbrough in North Yorkshire.
NE10 8TZ in Gateshead and NE31 2RZ in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear, NE66 2TZ in Eglingham, Northumberland.
In Yorkshire and the Humber, three postcodes won.
HU11 5JJ is Long Riston, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, LS17 8NF is in Leeds and WF10 3EY is in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

In the Midlands, the winning postcodes were B60 2BZ in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, and WR15 8LZ in Knighton on Teme in the West Midlands.
The East of England had one winning postcode: CM14 5QE in Brentwood, Essex.
In the South West, residents in BS25 1JJ in Winscombe, Somerset, and GL50 4RR in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, were among those celebrating.
The South East had four winning postcodes: OX5 1JL in Shipton-on-Cherwell, Oxfordshire, CT8 8EE in Westgate-on-Sea, Kent, SO53 1PW in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, and TN35 4HN in Guestling of East Sussex.
In Wales, the winning postcode was SA14 9EY in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.
The postcodes were among the 20 winning postcodes announced in the lottery’s daily draw.
Players living in the winning areas who held a valid ticket for their postcode received £1,000 for each ticket they owned.
The lottery awards £1,000 per ticket in 20 postcodes each day.
