Lindt’s LINDOR Shortbread truffles have been spotted in Tesco this week as they return following their first launch last year.
They are a limited-edition release and chocolate fans are excited to see them return ahead of the festive period.
The chocolate truffles were posted on Instagram page @newfoodspotteruk, which shares new items spotted in supermarkets.
People were quick to share their excitement for the return of the chocolates, with one saying: "These are actually stunning".
Someone else said: "Honestly the greatest Lindor flavour and by a long stretch".
A third commented: "These are delicious".
The limited-edition truffle flavour is available in Tesco stores and online for £7.50 but is currently reduced to £6 for Clubcard members.
Over the years, Lindt fans have been treated to a variety of truffle flavours, including White, Strawberries & Cream, Milk & White, Pistachio and more.
New additions to the range include Matcha and Cherry Blossom flavours.
Lindt giving customers free truffles in August
The news comes after Lindt shared it would be giving out free truffles to its customers in stores across the UK this month.
Lindt has looked into what different regions of the UK prefer from its LINDOR Pick & Mix selection, with results varying.
Discontinued UK sweets and chocolates
To mark the findings, Lindt is offering complimentary tastings in stores during August, featuring a different regional favourite each week, while stocks last.
Miquetta de Castro, master chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli UK, said: "Every region has its own favourites, which is exactly what makes our Pick & Mix so special.
