An evening charity walk will return this September to raise awareness of youth homelessness and mental health.

Light Up the Hills, organised by Positive Action in the Community (PAC), is a seven-mile trek through the hills of Accrington and will take place on Saturday, September 26.

The event, now in its second year, is held during World Suicide Prevention Month and includes a torch-lit moment of reflection.

A spokesperson for PAC said: "This fantastic three-hour challenge brings people together for an unforgettable evening of community, connection, and support."

The walk is designed to raise awareness and start conversations around youth homelessness and mental health.

PAC is encouraging the public to support the event by sharing it on social media, displaying posters, or spreading the word through their networks.
