Taylor Wimpey North West has officially broken ground at its new Beaumont Rise development in Lancaster, marking the start of construction on 58 new homes.

Located off Slyne Road, Beaumont Rise will feature a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Initial activity will focus on preparing the site and putting the infrastructure in place to support the new neighbourhood, ahead of construction beginning on the first homes.

The development will also include public open space, landscaped green areas and pedestrian links, while existing landscape features across the site will be retained and enhanced.

A range of energy-efficient features, including air source heat pumps, will also be incorporated into the new homes.

Beaumont Rise marks Taylor Wimpey North West’s arrival in Lancaster and follows the housebuilder’s recent acquisition of the site.

Gavin Powell, sales director at Taylor Wimpey North West, said: 'Breaking ground at Beaumont Rise is an exciting milestone, as construction officially begins on our first development in Lancaster.

'A great deal of work takes place before construction can begin, so it is rewarding to see our plans for the site start to become a reality.

'Over the coming months, people will begin to see the new neighbourhood take shape as our team delivers the infrastructure and first homes.

'We look forward to becoming part of the local community and creating an attractive, well-connected development that people can be proud to call home.'

The first homes at Beaumont Rise are expected to be released for sale in September 2026, with further information to be announced as construction progresses.

Prospective buyers can register their interest and receive updates through the Beaumont Rise webpage.
