Two Lake District holiday parks less than an hour from Lancashire have been recognised for excellence by travellers for the sixth year running.
Parkdean Resorts' Fallbarrow and Limefitt holiday parks, both near Windermere, have received TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards for 2026, placing them among the top 10 per cent of hospitality businesses worldwide based on guest reviews.
The parks are a popular destination for Lancashire holidaymakers, with Fallbarrow and Limefitt around 40 minutes from Yealand Conyers and within easy reach of much of the county.
The awards form part of wider success for Parkdean Resorts, with 25 of its holiday parks and hotels across the UK recognised this year.

The TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards are based on genuine reviews submitted over a 12-month period and celebrate businesses that consistently deliver positive experiences to visitors.
Parkdean Resorts employs more than 8,000 people across the UK and welcomes over three million holidaymakers to its parks every year.
The company has also won honours at the British Travel Awards for 12 consecutive years, including Best Company for UK Family Holidays, Best Company for UK Parks and Lodges Holidays, and Best Company for UK Short Breaks.
