East Lancashire Railway (ELR) has teamed up with HMPasties to keep passengers well fed this summer.
The partnership will bring a selection of its handcrafted products to the railway, while also supporting employment opportunities for ex-offenders.
Based in Oldham, HMPasties is a social enterprise bakery that employs people facing barriers to work, including prison leavers.

Lee Wakeham, founder of HMPasties, said: "We’re delighted to be working with East Lancashire Railway, a much-loved attraction with a rich heritage and strong community following.
"This partnership allows us to introduce our products to new audiences while continuing to support people on their journey into employment."
Through its charitable foundation, it provides training, jobs, and support to help people build stable, independent lives.
The partnership supports the railway’s focus on community and social impact.
Mike Kelly, chair of East Lancashire Railway, said: "East Lancashire Railway is proud to be working with HMPasties, a supplier that represents far more than excellent food.
"Their commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for ex-offenders and supporting rehabilitation aligns strongly with our own values as a community-focused organisation.
"By partnering with HMPasties, we are not only enhancing our offering to visitors with high-quality, locally produced products, but also supporting a business that is making a genuine difference across the Northwest.
"It’s a powerful example of how heritage, community, and social impact can come together to create something truly positive."
The partnership also strengthens HMPasties' presence across the region and reflects growing demand for ethical suppliers with a positive social and community impact.
