The Order came into force on July 2 and changes involve several roads in the Chorley Borough area.
The move will see the revocation of two previous orders, including certain sections with specific parking restrictions.
New no-waiting areas designated extend over various lengths on Bramblewood, Croston, Buckshaw Station Approach, Buckshaw Village, Chorley Old Road, Whittle-le-Woods, Ordnance Road, Buckshaw Village, and Station Road, Croston.
In total, nine sections of these roads will see parking restrictions.
For instance, both sides of Bramblewood, Croston, will now be subject to no waiting.
The restriction will apply for a length of 12 metres from its junction with the centreline of Station Road in an easterly direction.
On Buckshaw Station Approach, restrictions apply to four different sections.
The restrictions will extend from the junction with the centreline of Ordnance Road, with the no-waiting rule applying to an area of 125 metres heading in a southerly then easterly direction on the east side.
The south side, starting from a point 125 metres southeast of the junction with the centreline of Ordnance Road, will see a 57-metre length destined to prevent waiting.
For the west side, the non-waiting zone begins 81 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Ordnance Road, stretching for another 46 metres.
These changes will also apply on Chorley Old Road, Whittle-le-Woods, beginning from the junction with the centreline of Cow Well Lane and extending 25 metres in a southerly direction.
Similar restrictions will come into play on two sections of Ordnance Road, Buckshaw Village, and Station Road, Croston.
The order was made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
