Bensons for Beds has made a return to Burnley.
The bed retailer has opened a new 8,173 sq ft showroom at Prestige Retail Park in Burnley after a six-year absence from the area.
The opening represents a six-figure investment and has created five new jobs, including roles for a store manager, two full-time staff and two part-time employees.

Cllr Chaudhary said: "I'm delighted to welcome the opening of Bensons for Beds in Burnley.
"This investment is a positive vote of confidence in our town, creating a welcoming space for customers and supporting our local economy."
The store is led by manager Kathryn Adams.
Ms Adams said: "As someone local to Burnley, I'm incredibly proud to be leading the new store team.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors, helping them find the right bed or mattress for their needs and showing them the expert advice and technology we can offer in store."
The opening holds particular significance for the company as it is now the closest Bensons for Beds store to its headquarters in Accrington, just nine miles away.
It is also within walking distance of its customer contact centre at Kingsway House, which opened in Burnley town centre in April 2025.

Carrie Westwell, chief people and culture officer at Bensons for Beds, said: "Returning to Burnley is an important milestone for Bensons and a clear signal of the progress we are making as we continue to strengthen our store estate in the communities where our customers live and shop.
"This opening is particularly meaningful because it brings Bensons back to one of the communities closest to our Lancashire roots, our Accrington headquarters and our Burnley Customer Contact Centre."
The showroom is located alongside other retailers such as Sainsbury’s and Currys.
