A vape found to contain the dangerous synthetic drug, spice, has been seized by West Craven police.
This follows concerns about illegal vaping products being used by young people.
Police said the vape was discovered during an investigation into the use of illicit vaping products in West Craven.
An arrest has been made as part of the ongoing investigation
A police spokesperson said: "It has come to our attention over the past few weeks that some young people across West Craven are using vapes, which have been bought in illegitimate circumstances.
"Whilst we have been conducting enquiries into this, one of these vapes has been seized and tested.
"The results confirmed that it contained spice, a highly dangerous and addictive synthetic drug."
Police say they are "extremely concerned" about the impact on young people, as spice can cause "unpredictable and harmful changes in behaviour" and poses "significant risks to both physical and mental health."

Officers are urging parents and carers to speak with their children about the dangers of using illicit vapes or vape oils and to remain vigilant for any changes in behaviour or unusual vaping devices.
