Residents of a Lancashire street are celebrating winning £1,000 in today's daily draw of the Postcode Lottery.

The winning ticket was in Blackpool and those with a ticket in the FY4 3EY postcode were awarded the prize.

Residents living on Marlon Drive were those in the lucky areas during the draw on Tuesday, June 23.

Every day, there are £1,000 prizes to be won for every ticket in 20 postcodes.

The Postcode Lottery also manages lotteries for 20 charities. The lottery is hugely popular nationally and supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world."

To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 billion in funding, which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
