Best barber 2026 competition launches across East Lancs

Lancashire Telegraph readers have been nominating their favourite barbers in the region, and we can now reveal the top 10.

Which offers exceptional value for money? Which business treats you like family? And which barber gets your hair looking great every time? It is time to crown East Lancashire’s best barbers by voting for your favourite.

Whether it is a relative newcomer to our high streets or stalwarts who have been cutting generations of hair for decades, each competitor offers something unique and keeps customers coming back.

Over the coming days, readers will be able to vote for their favourite by picking up a paper copy of the Lancashire Telegraph, with the winner announced later this month.

There will also be profiles of each of the finalists to shine a light on the top 10 barbers and the owners behind them, in order to discover more about the business’ history and why it deserves the number one spot.   

Mick’s Barbers were our winners in 2025, however, the shop will not be returning this year, having not been selected during our nomination phase.

All businesses in the top 10 are based in Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Pendle, Burnley, Rossendale and the Ribble Valley boroughs.
