Police have released images of weapons, cash and drug line messages linked to a Burnley-based conspiracy which saw four men jailed.

The pictures, issued following the case at Preston Crown Court last week, show a black bat and three large sheathed knives recovered during the investigation, along with cash hidden under a sofa cushion.

Officers also revealed examples of bulk “flare” messages sent to customers, including one reading: “Both on with fat sizes till late ring for dealz,” and “Active with best! Rapid response!”

The material relates to the so-called ‘Crazy’ drugs line, which operated between December 2021 and June 2025 and was linked to more than 6.6kg of heroin and crack cocaine across Lancashire and beyond.

Saeed Aziz, 25, of Whalley Street, was jailed for 10 years and nine months after admitting conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Uzair Nasir, 24, of Milner Street, was jailed for five years and five months, while Corey Young, 19, was detained for four-and-a-half years in a young offenders’ institution for the same offence.

Mohammed Haroon, 24, of Lindsay Street, was jailed for two years and six months after admitting being concerned in the supply of drugs, having played a more limited role.

The court previously heard the Burnley-based line sent out thousands of messages advertising drugs to users in towns and cities including Bradford, Oldham and Manchester, as well as as far as Windermere in the Lake District.

The Lancashire Telegraph provided full coverage of the hearing, which was held at Preston Crown Court last week.

Detective Sergeant Stu Peall said: “This gang brought misery to many through their evil trade of peddling drugs on our streets but thanks to our efforts are now behind bars.

“We will continue to tackle those who bring harm to our communities by dealing in illegal drugs by dismantling these gangs and putting those involved before the courts.”

Police said the investigation formed part of Operation Warrior, Lancashire Constabulary’s ongoing response to serious and organised crime.
