A woman failed to register with the police within three days of pleading guilty to child pornography offences.
Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard Eloise Eastwood then went on holiday to Spain without notifying the police of her intentions at least seven days beforehand.
Her solicitor Damien Pickup said in mitigation she had not deliberately failed to comply.
"She just didn't understand exactly what she had to do," said Mr Pickup.
"If you are prepared to release her today, I will take her to Greenbank myself to make sure she signs on."
Eastwood, 21, of Lincoln Court, Church, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with notification requirements.
She was remanded on bail until June 26, when she is due to be sentenced for making and distributing indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornographic images, including more than 80 images of child abuse and an image involving a dog.
Sameena Bhatia, prosecuting, said that within three days of pleading guilty to those offences, Eastwood should have registered with the police.
She failed to do so and then went on holiday to Spain.
Mr Pickup said prior to the offences, which were already before the Crown Court, she had never been in trouble.
"She has learning difficulties and struggles to read," said Mr Pickup.
"She accepts being given the notice of requirements, but she struggled to read it.
"She was under the impression the Probation Service would sort everything out."
