A trial date has been set in the case of a man accused of attempted murder.
Pawel Skros, 39, of Warwick Street, Church, was due to enter a plea to the charge of attempted murder at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday (April 14).
Skros was unable to be arraigned due to an issue at the prison where he is remanded.
However a provisional trial date was set for September 7 of this year, which is estimated to last a week.
A pre-trial review will take place on July 10.

A further case management hearing was also scheduled for June 8, where it is expected that Skros will enter his plea.
Should he plead guilty, the future dates will be vacated and a sentencing date will be put in place.
Skros was charged with attempted murder following an alleged incident on Monday, March 15.
A previous hearing at Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard that the alleged victim suffered multiple stab wounds during an alleged incident at the Warwick Street address.
They were taken to hospital, and at the time of that hearing their condition was described as "serious but stable."
