Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.

BALAZS TOTH - 7

Made a superb save at the end to deny Cisse and ensure Rovers got something from the game. Otherwise, relatively untroubled.

RYAN ALEBIOSU - 7

Carried a good threat down the right side, particularly in the first half.

TOM ATCHESON - 7

Solid again on the right of defence. Was tested aerially and on the deck but stood up to the challenge.

SEAN MCLOUGHLIN - 7

Strong in the middle of the backline. Has been a good run of displays during this positive run of form.

EIRAN CASHIN - 8

Superb goal-line block to keep out Gallagher. Really excellent on the left. I'd make the phone call now to see if they can keep him for next season.

YURI RIBEIRO - 6

Solid down the left but did allow Rak-Sakyi the wrong side of him to equalise.

ADAM FORSHAW - 8

Really good goal, struck brilliantly. Best player on the pitch for 30 minutes when Rovers were at their best.

MOUSSA BARADJI - 6

Another solid display in midfield. Began to tire in the second half so it wasn't a surprise when his number went up.

RYOYA MORISHITA - 6

Didn't have his best game. Missed a good chance early on when he should've at least hit the target. Wasn't quite on the same wavelength as some team-mates.

TODD CANTWELL - 6

Some nice touches and good work off the ball but nothing too influential with the ball at his feet.

YUKI OHASHI - 6

A little surprised he completed 90 minutes. Good start but faded and was booked after a terrible dive.

SUBSTITUTES:

TAYLOR GARDNER-HICKMAN (BARADJI, 63') - 6

Added some more legs in midfield in a period where Stoke were on top.

KRISTI MONTGOMERY (FORSHAW, 77') - 6

Kept things ticking over after arriving in midfield.

MATHIAS JORGENSEN (CANTWELL, 77') - 6

Ran the channels and provided a bit more of a threat in-behind.

NATHAN REDMOND (MORISHITA, 90') - N/A

On for his Rovers debut in stoppage time.

DION DE NEVE (RIBEIRO, 90') - N/A

A slightly more attacking option in light of Stoke going down to ten men.

UNUSED SUBSTITUTES: Michalski, O'Riordan, Pickering, Afolayan.
