“Living out her dream” thousands of miles from home, Burnley College alumna Rosanna Riley has taken her talent from East Lancashire to a growing career on stage and screen in India.
The 22-year-old, from Burnley, has travelled more than 4,500 miles to pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry, where she is now performing at weddings, live events, TV commercials, and even appearing in films for Netflix.
A former student at Burnley College and St Augustine’s RC High School, Rosanna recently graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Dance Performance from LMA Liverpool and is now represented by Cine Flakes Productions and MH Productions.

Reflecting on her journey, she said: “I couldn’t be more grateful for the training I received at Burnley College – it really did set me up to be the best performer I could be!”
Since moving abroad, Rosanna has embraced a wide range of opportunities, building a diverse portfolio across both live performance and screen work in India’s fast-paced entertainment industry.
Her former tutor, Samantha Allen, praised her commitment and talent.
“Rosanna was always a dedicated, positive and accomplished dancer who made the most of every opportunity available to her while studying with us at Burnley College," she said.
“It’s incredible to see her now living out her dream. We wish her every success!”
