Blackburn's 1990s nightlife and neon lights still shine brightly in the memories of many of our readers.
It's a nostalgic time for many and was an exciting decade for the town, when nightlife was booming for club-goers, and it was also the decade when Blackburn Rovers came home with the Premier League trophy.
Readers of the Lancashire Telegraph have taken a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reminiscing about nights out in Blackburn during the 1990s and recalling the pubs and clubs that once defined the town’s after-dark scene.
Social media comments paint a vivid picture of busy weekends and a nightlife that attracted visitors from far and wide, with popular venues including Mr G’s, Peppermint Place, Manhattan Heights, North Bar, and Jazzy Kex.
Nightclubs and late-night eateries featured heavily in the memories.
One reader said: "Those were the days.
"Mr G’s, Never Never Land, then off to Mr P’s for a curry or Romeros for a burger or pizza."
Another said: "The 90s and early 2000s were the best... in the 90s I grew up on weekends having free food in my family's cafe where they worked, El Greco and Trafontain."
