An investigation will be launched after a large fire at a nightclub in Lancashire.
Ten fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms were called to Park Hall Road in Charnock Richard shortly before 9.30pm on Tuesday (April 7).
Images from the scene showed large flames coming from the building, which is in a complex alongside a leisure centre and gym just off the M6.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said an investigation into the blaze will launch this morning (Wednesday, April 8).
The fire has been put out, though crews remain on scene damping down.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Ten fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms from across Lancashire attended a derelict building fire on Park Hall Road, Charnock Richard.
"The fire has been put out, and crews remain on scene to dampen any remaining pockets of fire.
"Overnight the number of fire engines on the scene will be scaled back and an investigation will commence in the morning."
