A primary school in Ribchester has been forced to close due to issues with its heating and water supply.
St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary School on Church Street is closed to all pupils today (March 25) because it has no water, heating or hot water.
The issues are understood to be caused by a broken immersion heater and a part is needed to fix it.
Details on the council website state: "Ribchester St Wilfrid's Church of England Primary School has no water, heating.
"Ongoing issue waiting on part... immersion broken requires part."
