Three Lancashire businesses have been recognised as some of the north's 'most influential hospitality operators'.

The 2026 Kuits NRB top 50 hospitality power list has been unveiled.

The list, revealed at the Northern Restaurant and Bar (NRB) trade show in Manchester earlier this month, is now in its 13th edition.

It celebrates the north's most influential and high-achieving hospitality operators, who have achieved exceptional commercial success and critical acclaim over the past year.

This year, three Lancashire businesses have been highlighted: Bowland Inns & Hotels, Northcote in Langho and Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms in Ormskirk, which also received special achievement awards.

The special achievement awards recognised the exceptional contributions to the hospitality industry.

Craig Bancroft, managing director at Northcote, said: "We’re incredibly proud to see Northcote included in the Kuits NRB Top Fifty Hospitality Power List for 2026. It’s a fantastic recognition not just for the business, but for the whole team who work so hard every day to deliver the warm, genuine hospitality that Northcote is known for.

"Northern hospitality continues to thrive thanks to the creativity, resilience and collaboration within our industry, and it’s fantastic to see that celebrated through initiatives like the NRB Power List. At Northcote we remain committed to delivering exceptional food, wine and service, while continuing to champion Lancashire and the wider North as one of the UK’s most exciting hospitality destinations.”

Chris Brazier, group event director for NRB26, said: “We are incredibly proud to unveil this year’s Kuits NRB top 50 power list, celebrating the very best in northern hospitality.

"The ambition, creativity and sheer determination we see from operators across the region is extraordinary.

“This list exists to shine a light on that, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate the businesses and individuals who have made the North such an exciting place to eat, drink and visit over the past year.”

Robert Levy, executive partner at Kuits, commented on the awards.

He said: “As committed legal partners to leisure and hospitality businesses, we’re honoured to sponsor and judge the Kuits NRB awards that spotlight the region’s most innovative and influential operators.

"The north has consistently showcased outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, and NRB offers an ideal stage for celebrating its vibrant food and drink sector.

"We’re delighted to be involved in this occasion, and congratulations to all those who are listed in the top 50.”

Winners are selected by an expert panel through a rigorous process to ensure the best in northern hospitality are recognised.
