Blackburn College will host an International Women’s Day event this year.

Located in Scholars Restaurant in Blackburn College, the event is hosted by their Industry Collaboration Zone.

Held on March 5, one guest speaker is Rebekah Tapping, Director of People and Culture at Silver Cross Ltd.

She said: “It’s always a privilege to join a room full of talented women from across the North West who share experiences and learn from one another. Thank you to Janine Smith and the team for bringing this event together once again.”

The event will allow people with tickets to socialise and network with businesswomen from across the North West, and enjoy a two-course meal.

Ellie Palma-Cass, from Wigan, an award-winning speaker, is also set to speak at the event.

Aimed to celebrate and empower females through her guest speaking, Ellie expressed her excitement on social media.

She said: “Really looking forward to speaking at the International Women’s Day event.

“Get your tickets now.”
